After more than 30 years in accounting, Louise founded Reboot Accounting to create the kind of practice she’d always wanted to work in – professional, approachable and genuinely focused on helping people.
She enjoys helping clients understand their finances, solve complex tax problems and feel confident about their decisions.

After more than 30 years in public practice, I’ve had the privilege of helping individuals, families and businesses through every stage of their financial journey. Over the years I’ve learnt that accounting isn’t really about numbers — it’s about people.
Behind every tax return, business decision or ATO letter is someone looking for clarity, confidence and advice they can trust. My role is to simplify the complex, explain things in plain English and help clients make informed decisions with confidence.
I founded Reboot Accounting because I wanted to create the kind of accounting practice I’d always hoped existed — a place where clients feel genuinely welcome, never rushed and comfortable asking questions.
Whether you’re starting a business, growing an established one, managing investments or simply lodging your annual tax return, my goal is to make the process as straightforward and stress-free as possible.
Outside the office, I enjoy making the most of the beautiful Coffs Coast, spending time with family and friends, walking on the beach and keeping up with the ever-changing world of tax and business.

Kara Neel

Kara is the calm, organised force behind the scenes at Reboot Accounting, helping keep the practice running smoothly and making sure every client feels welcomed from the moment they contact our office.

Clients often comment on Kara’s calm and organised approach. She has a wonderful ability to make people feel welcome while quietly keeping everything running smoothly behind the scenes.
With more than 24 years on the Coffs Coast, Kara brings warmth, local knowledge and a steady presence to the practice.
Outside work, she enjoys yoga, spending time with her much-loved cat Pumpkin and tackling logic puzzles that most people would probably call challenging rather than relaxing.
Gilly Dog
Chief Happiness Officer
Every great office needs someone responsible for keeping spirits high — and at Reboot Accounting, that’s Gilly.
Meet Gilly
As Chief Happiness Officer, Gilly takes her responsibilities very seriously.
Her duties include greeting clients, supervising snack breaks, conducting regular office patrols and making sure nobody leaves without a smile.
She’s particularly good at helping nervous visitors relax and has become a much-loved member of the Reboot Accounting team.
If you have allergies or would prefer not to meet Gilly, simply let us know when booking and she’ll happily spend some time outside during your visit.
